Lately, I’ve been shopping for my home with much more intention. Instead of simply filling a space, I’m choosing pieces that add texture, dimension and beauty while working with what I already own.
Two of my latest finds — this textured decorative bowl and beautiful smoke glass dish — are perfect examples.
It's All in the Details
One of my favorite ways to make a neutral space feel elevated is by mixing textures and finishes.
The textured bowl adds an organic, sculptural element, while the smoke glass brings a soft contrast to the lighter tones around it. I styled the bowl simply with green moss balls and allowed the texture of the piece itself to be part of the moment.
And not everything needs to be filled or overly styled. Sometimes a beautiful object can simply be beautiful.
Small Pieces, Big Impact
I especially love the smoke glass dish because it's such a versatile little piece. Add a candle, a beautiful hand soap bottle, or leave it empty.
It's one of those small details that can easily move from a console table to a kitchen or bathroom countertop and instantly make the space feel a little more special.
For me, creating a collected home isn't about constantly buying more. It's about finding pieces you genuinely love and thoughtfully layering them into what you already have.
