Our Ralph Lauren-Inspired Christmas Home Tour

Welcome to Our Home

There’s something magical about Christmas that transforms a house into a home. Every year, decorating for the holidays is one of my favorite traditions. I look forward to unpacking treasured ornaments, tying velvet ribbons, and filling every room with the warmth and beauty of the season.

For this Christmas, I was inspired by the timeless elegance of Ralph Lauren Home. Rich tartan plaids, lush evergreens, crystal accents, warm candlelight, and classic red velvet bows came together to create a home that felt both sophisticated and welcoming.

Rather than decorating just one room, I carried the same classic holiday style throughout our entire home—from the front door to the Christmas tree, dining room, mantel, kitchen, and every festive corner in between.

Welcome to our Christmas home.

A Warm Holiday Welcome

Before guests even stepped inside, I wanted them to experience the feeling of Christmas.

Our front door was dressed with a lush evergreen wreath finished with a beautiful red velvet bow—a timeless combination that instantly sets the tone for the season. It's a simple detail, but one that always makes me smile when I come home.

The Heart of Christmas: Our Tree

Every Christmas tree tells a story, and ours became the heart of our home.

Decorated with classic ornaments, layers of ribbon, warm white lights, and traditional holiday colors, it reflected everything I love about timeless Christmas decorating. Instead of following trends, I focused on creating a tree that would feel just as beautiful years from now as it does today.

Whether we were opening gifts, watching Christmas movies, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together, the tree became the backdrop for so many special moments.

A Cozy Living Room

Our living room was designed to encourage slowing down and enjoying the season.

Soft textures, glowing candles, festive greenery, and holiday accents made the space feel cozy while still maintaining an elegant look. It quickly became our favorite place to gather throughout the holidays.

A Timeless Christmas Mantel

The fireplace is always a natural focal point, especially during Christmas.

I layered evergreen garland across the mantel with traditional holiday accents, allowing the greenery to remain the star of the display. Sometimes the simplest decorations make the biggest statement.

The combination of natural greenery, candlelight, and classic holiday décor created a look that felt timeless rather than trendy.

Our Ralph Lauren-Inspired Dining Room

The dining room may be my favorite space in our home during Christmas.

A dramatic tartan plaid table runner flows across the table, layered with lush greenery, rich red florals, ornaments, candles, and elegant place settings. The crystal chandelier adds sparkle while the antique-inspired gold mirror reflects the festive tablescape, making the room feel even more magical.

White upholstered chairs keep the space light and refined while allowing the classic holiday colors to take center stage.

This is where holiday meals are shared, conversations linger long after dinner, and memories are made around the table.

Christmas in the Kitchen

The kitchen may be one of the busiest rooms during the holidays, so I always enjoy adding a few festive touches.

Simple greenery, seasonal florals, holiday towels, and classic Christmas accents helped carry the same elegant style into the heart of our home without overwhelming the space.

Sometimes it's the little details that make the biggest difference.

My Favorite Holiday Details

One of my favorite things about decorating is layering thoughtful details throughout the home.

From oversized velvet bows and tartan plaid ribbons to crystal candleholders, evergreen wreaths, polished brass accents, and warm candlelight, each element worked together to create a home that felt festive, welcoming, and timeless.

These small touches may seem simple on their own, but together they tell the story of the season.

Bringing It All Together

If there's one thing I hope this home tour shows, it's that timeless holiday decorating never goes out of style.

You don't need to follow every new trend to create a beautiful Christmas home. Choosing a classic color palette, incorporating natural greenery, layering textures, and decorating with intention can make your home feel elegant and inviting year after year.

Christmas has always been about more than decorations for me. It's about slowing down, welcoming loved ones, creating traditions, and making memories that last long after the ornaments are packed away.

Thank you for stopping by our home this holiday season. I hope this tour inspires you to create a Christmas that feels warm, meaningful, and uniquely yours.

Merry Christmas!

With love,

Golda
